Bellamy Young

Young's acting career began in the theater. While playing Mary in The Life's initial ensemble, she made her Broadway premiere in the role of Mary on Broadway in 1997. She starred Off Broadway for Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily We Let's Roll (1994) and in Randy Newman's Faust, (1995-1996). The year 1995 was the year she made her television debut on a recurring character in The NBC daytime soap the show Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. The actress was on Law & Order as a guest actor in two roles in 1997, and again in 1998. In 1999, she made her movie debut with a minor part on the crime drama Black and White and later was a co-star in a number of independent films. Early in the 2000s, she began to be the guest actor on a range of dramas on TV and comedy shows like The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Young has been featured on more than thirty television series between 2000 and 2011. The year 2003 saw Young was cast as part of The USA Network show Peacemakers. Following nine episodes of the season, the show was canceled. The actress played recurring roles on the Lifetime legal drama series For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs as As Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs with Monica West (CSI: Miami 2005-2006) as well as ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney). From 2011 until 2013, she played Beth Clemmons in Criminal Minds. Bellamy Bellamy Bellamy
