According to reports, Prince William went to an evening fashion show, where Kate Middleton wore a transparent dress. This sparked his fascination. After 2003, the two had started dating. Middleton, Prince William and two other St. Andrews students were their roommates in the second year at St. Andrews. Kate Middleton was subject to press-related harassment in the early days. This led to a variety of people who threatened legal actions against Kate Middleton as well with her family lawyer. Due to unknown reasons, Kate and William broke up in 2007. There were rumors that continued to circulate that they had got back as a couple.
