Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1959) is a famous American author and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She previously served as an assistant professor of Law in Law School at the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has a weekly appearance regularly on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs this evening. The Imus Morning Show. The Legal Lis Radio Show and Wiehl of Justice Podcast.
Wiehl was born in Yakima and attended West Valley High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Barnard College, followed by a master's degree in literature from University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor in the US Attorney's office. She was the legal correspondent on NPR's All Things Considered. She was the "deputy chief investigatory attorney for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. Her tenure at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 through 2001. She ran the school's Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl has been a Fox News analyst since 2001.
